This Christmas Break will definitely keep me busy, but I do plan to sit down every now and again with a good book (or my iPad) to jump into some yummy reading. I go through reading bursts where I’ll read 9 books in a weeks time then I won’t pick one up for months. I’m weird I guess. Does that ever happen to you? Well, I guess it takes a good book to propel me into my book burst and here a few I hope to get my hands on this break:
1. “Unglued: Making Wise Choices in the Midst of Raw Emotions” By Lysa TerKeurst
2. “The Alchemist” By Paulo Coelho
3. “Bread & Wine” By Shauna Niequist (Not out ’til next Spring)
4. “EntreLeadership” By Dave Ramsey

A friend of mine suggested “Redeeming Love” by (author unknown to me). Thanks for sharing yours too!
Sarah, I’ve been recommended that book as well! Hope you have a Merry Christmas!!
I am SO looking forward to some holiday reading time! Good books can be addictive sometimes, the more I read, the more I want to read! Off to check out your pinterest board, always looking for some good suggestions
Yes I am so excited too. I’ve already started “Unglued” & it is so good. I hope you have a great Christmas!!
Hi Tabitha,
I saw your post on Midwest Bloggers and thought I’d drop by – a little late.
Nice list! I have made it through 3/4 of Unglued – and I apparently I need to re-read it. Boy, I need the help on that one.
I’m looking forward to Shauna’s “Bread & Wine,” too.
Somehow I missed that Dave Ramsey book – I should look into that. Hubby and I just did FPU at our church.
I was about to ask if you’ve read 7 – but I see it on your Pinterest board
Love Jen Hatmaker.
This Christmas I didn’t read too much.I read Untangling Christmas – which really helped to re-focus our family. And, I’m beginning Spiritual Friendship (Soul Care Resources) by Mindy Caliguire.
Wishing you blessings in the new year.

Dana, yes 7 is my challenging book. It’s one of those that you pick up and put down. It’s like I know God is working on me with it, but I don’t want to change. Isn’t that sad? So maybe I need to make that my number one priority to read 7. Unglued is great! I’m in the thick of it now! And Untangling Christmas sounds great! I think I’ll add that to my list as well!
Thanks for stopping by!!
In our home, we read anything and everything by Dave Ramsey. We loved EntreLeadership!
